Isabel & I have been thinking about downsizing for the last couple of years. The big house we have lived in and loved for over 40 years, with so many wonderful memories, is now way too big, for just the two of us.So this where, Ivona our long time friend into the picture. At our,son's wedding in November of last year, Isabel asked Ivona if she would like be our realtor in putting our home up for sale in the New Year. Of course, it would be my pleasure...and so process started there. Initially, we talked about doing this in the spring of '22. However, in the meantime, Ivona suggested,mid January, now would be the perfect time to list the house, as our area is hot and only with a few listings. We agreed to go forward and in quick order we had two open house, private viewings and many requests for viewing by agents and their clients. Also must say that the staging of the house was excellent...with a big thanks to Ivona.  No clutter and flowers everywhere makes it nicer to the eye.The listing went live on Jan 31st. Offers were looked at on Feb 3rd. And so the best offer was accepted. Our home SOLD in 5 days. However, Ivona was not finished with us.Once you sell your home, we needed to go find a new one. And once again Ivona, who knew the area(s) which we liked from previous viewings before we sold our home. In four or five days Ivona, with a suggested price, presented our offer to the seller. It was accepted. Hard to believe that all this was done so quickly.
